Setup guide

Install an eSIM on your phone in a few minutes. Follow the steps for your operating system.

On iPhone (iOS)

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone and tap Cellular or Mobile Data, depending on your system language.
  2. Tap Add Cellular Plan or Add Data Plan, then point your camera at the QR code received by email to scan it.
  3. Confirm adding the eSIM profile to your phone when the system displays the details of the new data plan and its label.
  4. Give the eSIM profile a name, for example GB Travel, so you can easily identify it in settings and avoid confusing it with your primary SIM card.
  5. Select the eSIM profile as your primary data line when travelling abroad, and keep your physical SIM card for calls.
  6. On arrival at your destination, enable the mobile data toggle for the eSIM profile and wait for the automatic network connection.
  7. If the network does not connect automatically, go to Network Selection and manually choose an available carrier from the list shown on your phone.

On Android

  1. Open the Settings app on your Android phone and look for the Mobile Networks or Connections section, depending on the manufacturer.
  2. Tap Add Mobile Network or Add eSIM, then scan the QR code received by email using your phone camera.
  3. Confirm the eSIM profile installation when your phone displays the data plan details and asks for permission to add it.
  4. Give the eSIM profile a name, such as GB Travel, so you can easily recognise it in the list of mobile networks in your phone settings.
  5. Enable the eSIM profile and set it as the preferred option for mobile data when travelling outside the country to avoid roaming charges.
  6. On arrival, make sure mobile data is turned on for the eSIM profile and wait for the automatic connection to a local network.
  7. If your phone does not connect automatically, go to the network settings and manually select an available carrier from the list shown.
